APA and Animation
Synopsis
The Audiovisual Producers’ Association brings together more than 130 Czech independent producers of audiovisual output. A significant number of the members are active in the field of animation. For 30 years, APA has been defending the interests of independent producers and supporting the development and cultivation of production activities. The presentation will focus on evaluating the current status of animation in the Czech Republic and the visualisation of its development as a significant field of the cultural creative industry with a high added value. What are the pillars and basic prerequisites of development and what institutions need to take part in this development? When can we expect the necessary changes to happen?
