About the director(s):
Florian Siebert is a director, producer and author. He directed and wrote the screenplay for "Aufwind", "Essen 1887" and "TimeRide VR Cologne", all produced by Düsseldorf-based Neonreal GmbH. "Upwind" celebrated its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in the Venice Immersive competition. With his production company Tales of Tomorrow GmbH, Siebert is co-producing a cinema documentary about e-sports and the path to the metaverse with Sascha L. Schmidt and Leopold Hoesch ("Klitschko", "Nowitzki - der perfekte Wurf", "Schwarze Adler"). His company also develops international feature films and documentaries. Other work includes directing the cinema documentary "Joker Rising" about an Iranian hip-hop dancer (currently in production), co-directing the cinema documentary "I go back home - Jimmy Scott" with Joe Pesci, Quincy Jones and Jimmy Scott, and co-producing the cinema documentary "Afterward". Siebert's films have been honoured with national and international awards.
