Jordan McGarry

Biography:
Jordan McGarry is Film London’s Head of Talent Development and Production, heading the team that discovers and develops London’s emerging filmmakers. The team’s work includes; selecting and supporting emerging filmmakers and creators through the Production Finance Market’s New Talent strand and the innovative UPstream IP market. Film London also delivers BFI NETWORK funding in London, commissioning shorts including the Sundance-selected Precious Hair & Beauty and LFF-selected Ratthum. We also deliver regular support and inspiration for creators through the Film London Labs series. Previously, Jordan headed Vimeo’s curation department, programming Staff Picks and developing Vimeo Originals before the platform moved away from such things. Jordan has also worked as a journalist, in festival programming, video commissioning and as an executive producer at Partizan London.
