Synopsis

Director's bio:
Hao ZHOU (b. 1992) is a filmmaker from southwest China. Focusing on queer and feminist themes, Zhou has made a no-budget narrative feature about queer sex workers (“The Night,” 2024, Berlinale Panorama). Zhou’s recent short films include a personal documentary “Frozen Out” (2021) and the experimental “Future Flowers” (2021). Zhou’s work has been screened at SXSW, Hot Docs, BFI Flare, Guanajuato, Images Festival, and others.
