After being swallowed by a crocodile and surviving, Juan, an immigrant en route to the US, finds himself so comfortable that he decides to stay inside the reptile forever, leaving Camila, his wife and companion, alone in her unpredictable journey north, where their daughter awaits.

Director's bio:
Born and raised in Panama, Marcela pursued a passion for dance, studying at the Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Massachusetts and later at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Injuries shifted her focus to a BA in anthropology, from Fordham University and eventually to the MFA program at USC School of Cinematic Arts. Her directorial debut, "God is in the breath," premiered at the Chicago Latino Film Festival and Ícaro International Film Festival. As executive producer and production services, she worked on Claire Denis' "Stars at Noon," which won the Cannes Grand Prix.
