Synopsis

Living the pirate's life is easier said than done. One has to survive somehow living in close quarters with a bunch of unruly male pirates, deal with the Qing Dynasty authorities ' decision to clear the coast of us, to establish their power over the local population, and last but not least, contend with almost constant seasickness, and the captain's husband. Linh is a young interpreter captured alongside and English sailor. They are dragged on board the Red Flag pirate fleet meet Zhang Baozai and Madame Captain and discover the pirates way of life. Linh's goal of surviving is challenging.

Director's bio:
Dan Chi Huang is an independent film director based in Taipei, Taiwan. By exploring contemporary issues through fantasy techniques. She makes feature films, shorts, docs, as well as immersive experiences. She is co- writer/director of Madame Pirate: Code of Conduct

Morgan Ommer is a freelance photographer and filmmaker based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Having successfully taught himself how to hold a camera, he decided to tell stories with images. He makes shorts, docs, and immersive experiences. He is co writer/ director of Madame Pirate: code of Conduct.
