Synopsis
Convinced that the outside world is harmful to his family, Gabriel Lima has kept his wife and children locked up for eighteen years. The days go by melancholy, while the family entertains itself by making a powdered rat poison that Gabriel goes out to sell in the neighborhood stores. The Lima family's fragile emotional equilibrium is shattered the day Gabriel realizes that his children are awakening into adolescence.
