Synopsis

NOEL, an aspiring actress, had been maintaining her silence as a rape victim. Unable to come to terms with her past, she finds a safe house for women called "Blue Imagine". Slow process of healing begins as she interacts with other inhabitants who have been through similar experiences of abuse. One day Noel learns that a young actress had been sexually assaulted by film director MINORU, who had also taken advantage of her two years ago. Noel and others find the strength to publicly speak out. Though they encounter cultural prejudice, bias and backlash, a small Japanese #MeToo movement gains momentum. As Minoru's film gets released as scheduled, Noel and her friends confront Minoru face to face at his film press conference and successfully elicits a testimony from the lead actress that she was also was harassed. Noel sees that society is slow to change but is able to face her past, which she could never have until regaining her power through the camaraderie formed at Blue Imagine.
