The ping pong tables in Oslo have become an important meeting place for people from all over the world.
On Grünerløkka in Oslo you will find the country's most popular ping pong-table. As long as the weather permits, an enthusiastic group of people gathers daily to play, hang out and get to know each other. The tables are deployed by the municipality, but the activity takes place under initiative of a small group of enthusiasts.
As the environment has grown, the relationship with the district has also become more strained. Several of the table tennis enthusiasts have a more liberal attitude to drugs than the municipality appreciates. When it is decided that Schous plass will become more family-friendly, both the table tennis tables and the community are at risk.
