In light of the 40th anniversary, this iconic music documentary was restored and relaunched in cinemas.

Screenings

After recording three evenings of concerts in 1983, what many call the world's best concert film came to life. The band Talking Heads performs some of their most legendary songs. Frontman David Byrne gracefully guides us through the performance with energetic dancing and humorous interjections, aided by giant shoulder pads and trickling sweat.

At our festival, you will have the opportunity to both watch and dance to to the film with the audience!

About the director:
Jonathan Demme was an American film director, whose career as a director, producer and screenwriter spanned more than 30 years and 70 feature films, documentaries and television productions. During his career, he collected both an Oscar and nominations for, among other things, Golden Globes and BAFTA.
