I am a freelance journalist and film critic based in Rome.
I currently work as an International Reporter for the EU-funded press agency Cineuropa, where I cover the European film industry with daily news, interviews, reports, and reviews of new releases.

I am currently the editor-in-chief of a new trade publication, The European Animation Journal. We publish two print issues (June and October) and manage an all-news website year-round.
I also serve as a film curator for the Support to EU Film Festivals project, which aims to enhance the quality of EU film festivals organised by European Union delegations worldwide. Additionally, I work as an external expert for a prominent European funding body.
I am an External Examiner in Film Studies for the International Baccalaureate.
I have lectured and held conferences in France, Ireland, Latvia, India, Romania, Indonesia, and Poland.
As of 2024, I work as a programmer for the Torino Film Festival, Italy's second-largest cinematic event.
I am a member of the European Film Academy, FIPRESCI (International Federation of Film Critics), FEDEORA (Federation of Film Critics of Europe and the Mediterranean), ICS (International Cinephile Society), and NECS (European Network for Cinema and Media Studies).

Andran Abramjan has graduated from Documentary filmmaking at Prague's FAMU. He has directed a number of short and medium length films, mostly documentaries, essays and experiments. His feature length docu-fiction Empire Builders (2018) received an award for the best Czech documentary debut at ElbeDock Film festival. His films were screened, among others, at Jihlava IDFF, One World, Cinéma du réel or Festival dei Popoli.

Zeshawn Ali is a filmmaker based in New York. His feature film debut, TWO GODS was supported by ITVS, Ford Foundation, and Sundance Institute. It was released as a part of Independent Lens on PBS and The Short List on VICE internationally. He was named a Pillars Artist Fellow as well as a recipient of the HBO/ Gotham Documentary Development Fund and the winner of the 2024 BlackStar Pitch. He is currently the Artist Programs Manager for Points North Institute.

Executive producer and director of non-fiction cinema from Barcelona. Laura is attending Ji.hlava as the executive producer of the project in development HOMEFIRE (Nanouk Films, Glia Films), which is at the New Visions Forum - Europe.
In 2019, after fifteen years of writing and producing for television and online platforms, Laura made her début as a director with 'City for Sale' (Bausan Films), which was nominated for Best Documentary Film at the XII Gaudí Academy Awards. This experience led her to do an MA in Creative Documentary Filmmaking at UPF-BSM. At the moment, Laura is juggling writing two films of her own with the creative and executive production of two film projects, both of which are creative documentary films written and directed by women: HOMEFIRE (Nanouk Films, Glia Films) by Neus Pagès i Selga and DAR A LUZ (Películas Maria) by Adriana Vila Guevara.

Jindřich Andrš (1994) studied documentary filmmaking at FAMU and film theory at Charles University and Edinburgh Napier University. His feature documentary debut A New Shift (20202), an intimate time-lapse portrait of a laid-off miner who decides to retrain as a programmer, won numerous jury and audience awards (DOK Leipzig, FIPADOC, IDFF Jihlava, Czech Film Critics’ Awards, Finále Plzeň, longlisted for European Film Awards and others). As a producer he completed the internationally successful short film Pripyat Piano – a "documentary concert" from Chernobyl.
