Synopsis

An unlikely and irresistible combination: the musical universe of José González, the Swedish indie folk singer, and the dark and surreal humour of the team that made Ruben Östlund's The Triangle of Sadness. Based on real episodes of psychotic outbursts experienced by one of Sweden's most international musicians, his long-time collaborator Mikel Cee Karlsson takes us on a surreal journey into the somewhat disturbed mind of a unique artist – using surprising special effects. A film in which González exposes his intimacy, seeks a path of balance, sings, and reflects on biochemistry and the representation of paradise according to Jehovah's Witnesses. Amen.
