Synopsis
Iñigo Salaberria was a key video artist on the Spanish art scene in the 1980s and 1990s, who has recently passed away. María Elorza is working on some images he shot on Super8 between 1984 and 1985, images that had been forgotten in an archive. Al Borde del Agua is the form that Elorza gave to this film that never came to be: a film that lingers in the landscape and is interested in the nuances of figuration. In between, we hear Salaberria in conversation with Elorza: a passage of testimony, a generational present.
