Synopsis

Bosnia and Herzegovina / Karlo Afan de Rivera left a significant mark on the art scene of 20th-century Mostar, leaving behind a large number of paintings primarily done in watercolor technique. Unfortunately, his name has been forgotten in the 21st century – it is not taught in schools, there is no monument, and no exhibitions of his paintings are held. Inspired by the lack of recognition for Karlo Afan de Rivera, young director Luka Vlaho decides to make a film about him. While exploring his life story, Luka notices similarities between Karlo Afan de Rivera and himself, raising the question of the artist's position in the past and present in a city like Mostar.
