SERIESLY BERLIN CO-PRODUCTION PITCH brings together international creatives, producers, financiers, sales agents, distributors, funding institutions, broadcasters, and streamers — all ready to connect, collaborate, and shape the future of storytelling. Our expert jury handpicks outstanding international fiction series projects that are already in development and actively seeking international co-production and financing partners. This exclusive opportunity allows creators and producers to pitch their series live on stage in front of top industry professionals in Berlin—bringing bold, visionary ideas directly to the people who can help realize them.But that’s not all — selected projects will be featured in our database, accessible to accredited attendees two weeks prior to the SERIESLY BERLIN CONFERENCE. This platform enables early exposure, meeting requests, and networking that can lead to real partnerships and deals.

Project eligibility

We’re looking for fresh, undiscovered gems!

• Projects which haven’t been presented at other festivals or public events get priority.
• Must be in the development stage — no projects already in production.
• Open to all genres (yes, sci-fi as well!) and formats including miniseries, limited series, procedurals, and mixed-media projects.
• Must be a first season project with at least four episodes (minimum 15 min. per episode).
• We need to see your budget plan.

Required submission documentation

1. Series Concept (max. 8-10 pages of text)

Your bible is your pitch-perfect blueprint — we need to see:

- Plot arc for the first season

- Pilot treatment (approx. 4,000-5,000 characters)

- Character breakdowns – who are they, and why do we care?

- Visual material – mood boards, concept art, anything that sets the tone!

- Creator & Producer’s notes & biographies – tell us why you’re the one to bring this vision to life!

2. Pilot Script or Dialogue Samples (if available)

3. Financing Plan - Show us the real numbers!

- A detailed breakdown of your financing structure - Clearly indicate which elements are confirmed and what’s still in progress

- Include a timeline for securing the remaining funding

4. Teaser (if available) & Hi-Res Mood Visuals - A short teaser or strong hi-res visuals can make all the difference — set the mood, sell the vision!

Anything beyond 10 pages cannot be considered! Keep it tight and impactful.
