The film was shot in an afternoon during the summer of 1989, on Patision Street, downtown Athens. In a single take. With no synchronised sound, no script, no music copyrights.

In the year 2000, a terrible incident shocks the city of Athens: a huge piece of moussaka appears on the city streets, spreading panic and death. Everyone keeps wondering: why, where, how, for what reason? Everyone, except for Tara and a diverse group of people, who strongly believe they have to make contact with it.

A dodo, a bird extinct for the last 300 years, shows up at the villa of a formerly wealthy family in Athens. The owners are counting down the critical two days to their daughter’s wedding, which will bring their financial salvation. In dodo’s presence, the already thin line between sanity and madness collapses as the situation spins out of control.

Forty-eight-year-old Yorgos is released from prison, after a 15-year sentence for a murder he committed in his native village. He spends his first night of freedom at a cheap hotel in the center of Athens, where he meets a trans prostitute named Strella. They sleep together and soon they fall in love. But Yorgos’s past catches up with him, and he ends up in a different “prison.” Along with Strella, he will have to find a way out.
