A constantly moving camera immerses us from the get go into a colorful universe of profound emotion; a bunch of teenagers journeys from tragedy to farce, from romance to rapture. The driving force of the story is Eden; a young girl who loves her brother beyond reason. When he dies in a freak accident, Eden discovers the existence of his secret girlfriend. Eden starts getting increasingly closer to her, testing the boundaries of love, obsession and identity. Through a wild ride full of twists and turns, the two girls' connection will reach into the depths of grief to lead to a celebration of acceptance. A film able to exorcise every evil, based on the filmmaker’s life.

Tom Nesher
Born in Los Angeles in 1996, Tom Nesher is a graduate of the Jerusalem Sam Spiegel Film School. She directed four award-winning shorts, and has created dozens of unique freeform documentary pieces as a journalist at one of Israel’s most prominent networks. Come Closer is Nesher’s debut feature film.
