Synopsis

«Sisters Forever» provides a unique perspective on the bond between sisters in life and death.

Screenings

Wilde and Marin are sisters and best friends. Marin suffers from bipolar disorder. Wilde has been trying to help her for many years, but one day she understands that her older sister has decided to end her life.

This presents Wilde with a major dilemma. Should she accept her sister's decision, or is there anything she can do to prevent a suicide? «Sisters Forever» is about how to process grief and take back control over your own life.

About the director:
Sigve Endresen has produced and directed both fiction and documentary films for over 30 years. Together with Aage Aaberge and Hallgrim Ødegård, he founded the production company Motlys in 1983 and was general manager until January 2016. Endresen has received a number of awards as a producer, and in 1998 he received the Aamot statuette for outstanding efforts in the Norwegian film industry.
