One of Basel's first memories is of his parents demonstrating against the Israeli authorities. At the age of fourteen, he began documenting Israel's destruction of his homeland. During all the years of risky confrontations with soldiers and occupiers, an unexpected friendship develops between the Palestinian and an Israeli journalist.

«No Other Land» gives a brutal insight into the endless struggle Palestinians endure to keep their homes. With each passing day, a home, a hen house or a school is demolished. And each time a new family must choose whether to stay in the ruins or flee their homeland.
