Perhaps the most important development in recent decades in the fight for justice is the establishment of international criminal courts for war crimes. But how does the International Criminal Court in The Hague (ICC) actually work? Can it actually solve the problems societies face after traumatizing conflict?

«Theatre of Violence» is an extremely interesting and thorough film about a very complex subject. It shows how documentary film at its best can make complicated topics both understandable and captivating.
