Ahmed lives in a refugee camp with his family of 14 brothers, 22 sisters, a father and three wives. A few miles away, Karma lives in an apartment with a liberal mother, traditional father and three sisters. They live different lives and have different dreams, but both live in an area filled with chaos and unpredictability.

«Gaza» takes us beyond the reach of clichéd news reports and reveals a reality with eloquent and interesting characters. The documentary offers a cinematic and enriching portrait of those trying to live normal lives in the midst of a conflict.

About the director:
Garry Keane and Andrew McConnell are two Irish filmmakers. «Gaza» had its world premiere at the Sundance film festival in 2019 and was the Irish candidate for best foreign film at the Oscars.
